Devils Canyon Overlook Hike
During the fall of 2010 we went on a hike to Devils Canyon over look. The hike was one and a half miles round trip. This was a fun trip for younger and older kids. On the way home we saw four Big Horn Sheep. The trail was difficult to find.

Lovell Fire Station
In the fall of 2010 we toured the Lovell firehouse. They showed us how to stop, drop, and roll properly. We were allowed to tour their fire trucks and the station. The younger kids got to climb through the trucks and see how they work. We would like to thank the Lovell fire department for letting us come see the station and teaching us about fire safety.
Bee Hive Fun
At this learning experience we learned loads about bees and their hives. We learned that bees die in cold air, that there's a queen, worker bees, and drone bees which are fertile male bees. The worker bees are undeveloped female bees that collect necter, make and store honey, protect the hive, and feed the queen bee.

Shelf Reliance Party!!
The homeschool group Shelf Reliance party is still scheduled for this Friday, 2/10/2011, at 1 pm. Location - Fort Causeway at 606 Highway 14 A East. Hope to see you all there!
Note: There's been some sickness going around here at the Fort. Kids are much better now, but not 100%. We will try to keep any who are still sick tomorrow contained. We are still looking forward to everyone coming but understand if anyone wants to stay away and not expose themselves! Thanks for understanding.
